- How much is postage and packaging?

We calculate the cost of postage and packaging on a weight based system. We believe this is the fairest way to charge our customers.
The cost of sending the parcel is based on the weight of the total order, including packaging.
We offer our UK based customers the choice of 1st or 2nd class post.
Delivery Charges for the UK & Northern Ireland & Channel Islands Orders up to £5 FREE Delivery Orders between £5.01 - £25 We charge between 75p and £7.00, depending on weight, with most of our orders sent at £1.95. Orders between £25.01 - £50 Free 2nd Class Post or Discounted Rates for 1st Class Post.
For orders not sent by free 2nd class post we charge between 75p and £6.00, depending on weight, with most of our orders sent at £1.65.Orders over £50 FREE Delivery Special Delivery Next Working Day (Monday – Friday only)
We charge between £4.60 and £20.70, with most of our orders being sent at £5.60.
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery Service.
Delivery Charges for EUROPE:
We charge between £1.25 and £14.00, with most of our orders being sent at £3.65.
International Signed For Delivery (Monday – Friday only)
We charge between £4.75 and £14.65, with most of our orders being sent at £7.15.

We charge between £1.64 and £21.07, with most of our orders being sent at £6.04.

- How is my order shipped?

We ship all UK orders by Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Post. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
For our Special Delivery Next Working Day option, we have a cut off time of 3:00PM in order to have your items packed & dispatched the same day.
The Special Delivery Next Working Day option requires a signature.
European & Rest Of World orders are shipped by Royal Mail Air Mail Service and require a signature. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.

- Will I receive email confirmation of my order?
Yes, we will send you an email detailing your order and your selected delivery/postal address. To view the status of your order you should login to your account area.
- Can I have a shipping address that is different to the billing address?
Yes, when you come to order you will have the option of selecting which address you wish to use for each. If required you will also be able to enter new addresses, either directly from the select address page or from the address book in your account.
- How can I check the status of my order?
If you login to your account and click on the "Your Orders" link then you will be able to see all of your previous orders and there related statuses.

- What type of packaging and materials do you use?

All of our packaging is recyclable or from natural sources. We use the following products:-
Recycled Boxes
Made from recycled material. These 100% recycled brown corrugated boxes are high quality and double walled for extra strength and protection.Jiffy Padded Postal Bags
Made from recycled material. These bags are 100% recyclable and used for our smaller orders. They are made from a high quality kraft paper, filled with recycled macerated paper for maximum cushioning.Woodwool
Natural, chemical free and environmentally friendly loosefill packaging. Woodwool is manufactured from softwood harvested from renewable forests. It is recyclable, reusable and biodegradable.
Returns & Cancellations
- How do I return my goods?

If the goods you received from us are damaged or defective, please contact our Customer Services on 0800 158 3696 or service@ediblebeauty.com to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number.
For hygiene reasons we are unable to offer a refund or exchange on any opened product.
We will refund shipping charges for damaged or defective goods only.

- What if I want to cancel my order?

We aim to process and despatch all products within 24 hours. It may be that we are unable to cancel your order if we have already despatched your products. If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible at service@ediblebeauty.com. Please quote your Customer Order Reference.

- How long will it take to receive my refund?

We process refunds within 5 days of receipt of the returned goods provided they are returned in a resalable condition and in the original packaging. It may take several days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Products
- What does 'Organic' mean?
-
'Organic' means products have been produced using ingredients grown without the use of chemicals such as pesticides and synthetic fertilisers.
Products are labelled 'Organic' if they fall into the following categories:-
100% Organic
Made with 100% Organic ingredients.Organic
Made with a minimum 95% Organic ingredients.Made With Organic Ingredients
Where there is a shortage of organically grown ingredients, Organic Certification Bodies such as the Soil Association will approve products if they contain a minimum of 70% organic ingredients, with strict restrictions on the remaining 30%. But, these products cannot be labelled 'Organic'. - What is Organic Certification?

The Organic Certification or Seal assures consumers of the quality and integrity of organic products. To obtain certification for a product, a minimum 95% of all the ingredients must be certified organic.

- How can I find out the ingredients of a product?
You can view the ingredients listing for any of the products we stock by clicking on the ingredients link positioned underneath the product image.
- How do I know what skin type am I?
-
Our skin type is determined by how much or how little oil our skin produces. Everything from our skincare regime, diet, genes and stress levels can influence how much oil our skin produces.
Take the Test: Test what skin type you are. Wash your face with water, pat it dry and then press a clean piece of tissue paper onto it. If your skin is oily the paper will stick. If the paper doesn't stick or pick up any oily spots then your skin is dry. If the paper sticks to your T-Zone area (nose, chin and forehead) then you have combination skin. Combination skin is the most common skin type.
SKIN TYPE CHARACTERISTICS Normal Clear, supple and smooth. Even tone and barely visible pores. No blemishes, spots, greasy or flaky areas. Combination A combination of oily and dry skin. T-Zone area (nose, forehead and chin) is oily whilst cheeks may be dry. Pores are dilated and prone to blackheads. Oily Shiny with enlarged pores and prone to blackheads, spots and blemishes. Oily skin is known to age at a slower rate than other skin. Dry Skin is tight and uncomfortable after washing unless a moisturiser is applied. Tendency towards fine wrinkles and red patches, as well as, flakiness and chapping. Mature Skin feels tight with visible fine lines and wrinkles. Pores are more noticeable around the nose, chin and cheeks. Prone to blotchiness and uneven pigmentation. Sensitive Thin, delicate with fine pores. Skin flushes easily. Prone to broken capillaries. Can be allergic and suffer from rashes. Sensitive skin conditions include acne, eczema and rosacea. - What is Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea?

Acne is an inflammatory facial skin infection caused by clogged oil glands. Symptoms include whiteheads, blackheads, spots and cysts.
Eczema & Dermatitis are disorders associated with redness, swelling, cracking, itching, scaling and inflammation of the skin. They can be caused by an allergic reaction, skin irritants, contact with petroleum based products or a fungal infection.
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder characterised by rough scaly skin. Commonly found on the hands, knees, elbows, ears and scalp.
Rosacea is a skin condition that produces red oily skin and acne. Symptoms include inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead giving a flushed appearance. Rosacea is more common in women than men and affects fair-skinned people of mostly north-western European descent.
- What if I have an allergic reaction to a product?
-
Due to the purity of some of the products, extremely sensitive skin may need time to adjust to them.
If you have sensitive skin and you have not used any of the products before then we recommend you do a patch test. Simply apply a small amount of the product to your inner arm, just below the elbow, or behind the ear. Leave for 24 hours. Adverse effects are unlikely.

- Are any of the products safe for use during pregnancy?

Essential Care and Spiezia Organics maintain that their products are safe for use during pregnancy. Spiezia Organics state that the vast majority of their products contain less than 2% of essential oil in them, the only exceptions being the Bath Oil, which is still well within the recommended dilution quantities for pregnant women.
- What is Mineral Makeup?
-
Mineral make up is a hypoallergenic loose power based on titanium and zinc oxide, which are naturally occurring minerals. These oxides provide a sun protection factor of 15 and, because zinc has anti-inflammatory properties, it is excellent for conditions such as rosacea and acne. It contains none of the nasties like perfume, talc, alcohol, dyes, mineral oil or preservatives.
We have selected to stock Inika Mineral Cosmetics because they are pure and natural. They are made quite literally from the very rocks of Australia.
